Who we are
Garden State IT was built on a simple idea: small businesses deserve responsive, plain-English IT support from someone who knows their setup and actually gets back to them. Not a ticket number in a queue at a national provider, and not a friend-of-a-friend who is unreachable the week you need them.
We are based in Bergen County and work with businesses throughout New Jersey — practices, firms, contractors, shops and offices that depend on their technology every working day but have no reason to employ anyone to look after it.

Garden State IT is Elti’s business, and Elti is who you deal with. There is no call centre, no account manager and no handover to someone you have never met — the person who answers the phone is the person who does the work and who is accountable for it.
He works out of Bergen County and covers businesses across New Jersey, on site where it matters and remotely where it does not. If he is not the right person for a job, he will say so and point you at someone who is.
How we work
- Plain English. You get explanations you can act on, not a wall of acronyms. If we cannot explain why something is worth spending money on, it probably is not.
- Proactive, not break-fix. The goal is fewer incidents, not more billable emergencies.
- One provider for the whole stack. Computers, network, cloud, backups and phones under one number to call, so nobody gets to blame someone else.
- No lock-in games. Your systems, licences and data stay yours, documented, and portable if you ever leave.
Where we work
We are based in Bergen County and work throughout New Jersey. Towns we cover most often include Hackensack, Paramus, Fort Lee, Englewood, Teaneck, Ridgewood, Fair Lawn, Garfield, Rutherford, Mahwah, Bergenfield, Lodi and the surrounding areas — and we travel across the Garden State for on-site work. Remote support reaches anywhere; being local is what makes same-day on-site realistic.
